Dr John Flood
John Flood completed his Plastic Surgical training in Sydney. He then undertook a Fellowship in Maxillo-facial Surgery in South Western University, Dallas, Texas. The Fellowship involved training in all aspects of facial surgery including both acute trauma and post traumatic reconstruction, elective osteotomies of the jaw bones and facial aesthetic surgery.
John's main interests are in maxillofacial surgery, facial skin cancer surgery, in association with Mohs' surgery, facial aesthetic surgery and reconstructive breast surgery.
John is on the Editorial Board for Selective Readings in Plastic Surgery, which is used as a core curriculum for plastic surgical trainees throughout the world. The Editorial Board is based in Dallas, Texas. John is an author of peer reviewed papers as well as a number of book chapters. John participates in Interplast and has been on overseas trips to the Marshall Islands and Fiji in the past.
John has been a Visiting Medical Officer at St Vincent's General Hospital for the last nine years. He is married with five children.
